Pavlov VR Added New Push Mode Game and New Vehicles in the Game

There are many VR titles on the market, from single-player sword fighting games like Blade and Sorcery to multiplayer social apps like VR Chat. However, there are not many multiplayer FPS games on the VR platform. One title that can scratch this itch is Pavlov. This FPS title lets players play with realistic weapon models while maintaining a gameplay style similar to Call of Duty. Initially the game functions like Counter-Strike, with the weapons the player uses being purchased from the buy menu. However, the game became more in line with Call of Duty as more modes were added, including a zombie mode, as well as an infected mode. Now, a new mode they’re calling Push is being introduced to Pavlov VR, and it will include a lot of big changes to the game, including some new vehicles to play with.

Revealed in a post on Steam, the update for the game introduces a new game mode, Push. It’s a mix of Search and Destroy, and Call of Duty WW2 War mode. The game takes place on a large-scale map. Described as a “progressively changing, class-based objective game mode.” Push will cause players to attack objectives with TNT, which can be defused by the enemy team. If an objective explodes, another objective will appear, and the player must head to that objective to eliminate the enemy. However, there is more to this mode than just this. The attacking team has limited resources, so their respawns will decrease until they don’t have enough resources to complete the objective.

The new game mode is currently running on community servers, meaning that players won’t be able to handle Push on the official Pavlov VR servers at this time. This is most likely due to the lack of an official Push map for the game. However. This mode can be played in Stalingrad, Sanatori, Bridge, Bunker, Container Yard, and Siberia. However, this map was not designed with the new game mode in mind. It’s possible that the developers will consider creating a map for this new mode, allowing players to jump into the game and play the official version of Push.

Since the map is large scale, there will be new vehicles introduced. Back in January, Pavlov VR introduced tanks to the game, which can be driven by up to 3 people, with one person driving, one using the tank’s cannon, and another using the machine gun to take out the infantry. Tanks and other vehicles are very popular among players, and with the right number of people, can lead to crazy tank battles. With the introduction of tanks comes the Engineer class to the game. Players wearing the Engineer class will be given a special welding torch which functions the same as Battlefield, placing the welding torch on the tank will repair it.

With this new update along with a new game mode, Push, Pavlov VR has introduced several new vehicles in the game, namely the Tiger tank. Modeled after one of the most formidable tanks of World War 2, the Tiger tank will be able to take some extra hits, which will be troublesome for players on foot trying to stop the enemy’s advance. Other vehicles added to the game are the 4×4 vehicles, Kubelwagon and Willys MB. This small Jeep-style car will be an easy way to transport players on foot around the battlefield. However, although this vehicle is much faster than a tank, and can accommodate up to 4 players, it is not a smaller tank capacity of 3 players. It’s a very fragile car, and each player is faced with open air, meaning snipers can take out the driver, or even the occupants of the vehicle.

On the topic of snipers, a new weapon was brought back to Pavlov VR, namely the hunting rifle. This fan-favorite weapon has special abilities. Another weapon added to the game also directly counters tanks for players on foot. Fortunately, developer Pavlov has introduced anti-personnel and anti-vehicle mines. Although this method is effective at denying areas, it is vulnerable to exploding if shot. This means that players must stay away from the mines if someone shoots them.

Developer Pavlov VR has also revealed a new in-game map for the original search and destroy mode. The new map, titled “Bunker,” is set inside a missile silo and will use the verticality of the silo to help players devise interesting strategies. The map is also a decent size, which will give players enough room to breathe, but not enough to make players forget to check the corners.

Several other maps from the community have also been created to show off the new mode of the game. The team working on the game is promoting several high-quality community maps to show off the new mode. Maps such as Snow Trail by KENNITH, Remagen by The Machine, DOG GREEN SECTOR PUCH by HANK, Middle East Push by Wilbur, and Outpost Assault by MessiahPenguin are all included as maps that the developers are asking players to download.

Some other improvements to the title made by the developer include a new scoreboard that can now support up to 32 players in a single game, as well as improved scoreboards for Search and Destroy. The new scoreboard will show team economy and bomb mastery in the mode.

Additionally, the mod kit for the game has also been updated, enabling official support for Push. This includes the ability for players to change objectives and helps players design battles according to their wishes.

Lastly, the developers took a little time to talk about the future of Pavlov VR, beyond the new mode, Push, and other new additions. While the game won’t be getting any major updates anytime soon, this is because they are moving to a new version of Unreal Engine. Unfortunately, this will cause uncomfortable side effects. All current workshop maps will become incompatible when they make the final move to the new version of Unreal Engine 4. This means that modders who want to keep their maps in the game will have to update their maps to the new version. game. The developer says that updating maps is as easy as dragging and dropping them into the new version of Unreal. While this is more of an inconvenience for in-game mappers, it has to be done, as there is no proper way to load maps created in older versions of the game.
