D’Amato is using it as a tune-up for next month’s Valencia Marathon which will be his first marathon since he blew up in Boston and ran 2:35. The BAA Half field is led by Evaline Chirchir (66:01) and Grace Loibach (66:31) and defending champion Fantaye Belayneh (77:31).
